I'd like to watch a reality show of this. Everyone working together for a common goal that adds to the knowledge of group dynamics in a presumably crowded environment.
Too bad it was such a short report. Not enough details about how big the area is, are they working during that time. Is there a step 2 planned etc... Thanks for posting kcg5. - Mary Mowder |

When do you think the law suits will start about keeping Mars from being polluted?

They should've put David Blaine in there. He has had enough training in confined spaces FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
At least he can entertain them, I THINK.

Interesting. I wonder how they'll eat during that time.

I'm surprised we aren't doing the same thing here. Maybe we are and just haven't said that much about it.
Once We or Russia does get to Mars. Be ready all the nut jobs that say we didn't go to the moon are also going to claim that Mars is an elaborate and costly hoax as well. I've been looking at threads on You Tube the past few days about how we never went to the moon. People on You Tube have some serious mental issues. That is an obvious fact. If anyone reading this thread thinks we never went to the moon either. YOU have mental problems as well. |

We never went to the Moon!
The Astronauts went to the Moon! We here just watched it from EARTH! (If there are any Astronauts who did go to the moon reading this, you're exempted, because you did go.)

It was stated that they would have to get use to only eating a certain amount of food a day. Replenishment of anything is out of the question once they are far away enough from earth. The international space station etc... So it's going to be for the most part exactly as life would be in space. Minus the no gravity part of course. |

For a pretty irreverant look at the photographic evidence, scroll about 2/3 of the way down the page. Also, if you're a Nikon user, you'll have a good laugh. If you're a Canon user, probably a good cry! Warning, link is full of colourful language.
