I know this coincidence goes back a ways, but boy-o-boy that is similar.

Great Lint. Now Busby will have a lawsuit against the Thermos people.

Final load:

"Would you believe me if I told you the balls have completely vanished? Look - a wave of the wand they all FLY away!"

(I saw some great, large plastic/rubber flies at a novelty shop last week...)
"Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"
"To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.

Here is a routine idea I never finished working on...

Several years ago, I discovered that the caps from Spic N Span and/or Mr. Clean could very easily pass for a set of slum cups. The idea was to conclude by finding one of the caps screwed onto a bottle. I think I still have the props here.

BTW - Did anyone actually read the heading on that Thermos ad?? Yikes!! Using dead babies to sell your product??

I do not have a problem with the flies. I have a problem with LINT taking a photo in his underwear. (HAHA) Take another look at the photo of the Thermos. Put some clothes on man ........

One cannot view ads like these using "modern" sensibilities.
In the years before vaccinations and other medical/pediatric advancements, infant mortality was much higher and it was not at all uncommon to exploit anxiety over newborn and infant frailty to sell tonics and cure-alls.

Tragically, these issues are still part of everyday life in many parts of the world.

I have had to be very careful with the photos in the museum for the same reason.

It's not a pretty sight!
