How about sharing your three favorite stage finales. I currently have three, but could use a couple more. These work for family shows...
-Snowstorm in China - with Snow Animator 3 -Fractured Fingers of Faith -Fishing for Friends What are yours? |

My favorite closings are:
1. Duke's Dye Verson by Duke Stern, sold by Abbott's Magic Co. 2. Hydrostatic Glass , just a classic, with Alan Shaxon's finishing patter, props supplied by Abbott's Magic Co. The above is preceeded by Mulitplying Bottles. Climaxing the Bottles and the Act. 3. Sometimes I just finish with: It has been a joy, an experience, and a pleasure to be with you all this evening! Thank you very much! |

My one and only parlour stage show finale is and stays, until I'll find better, my version of Gary Ouellet's Gypsy Thread.
I use it for four years now and it's the one that everyone talks after the show. Oliver. |

I often closed with Ken Brooke's Multiplying Bottles and a huge American Flagpole produced out of one of the tubes.
My Comedy Club act closer is JUMBO MOVING PIP CARD following my signture Card in Balloon. both routines can be seen at http://www.petebiro.com clik on VIDEO CLIPS and scroll. Unfortunately both are edited some and much of the card routine is left out.

Well for my kids shows I close with my Snow storm routine using a Chinese fan ( I am not a fan of the KJ versions although they are good I just don't care for them)
so for kids snow storm my original routine called daddy dance for stage sub trunk snow thread of destiny ( my version of gypsy thread made with my own glow thread!)

A similar question on the Café can be found at
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=10 but relates specifically to an ending for a manipulative card act, although of course any other manipulation routines can be included. A card castle production is a natural finale. The usual ending to a multiplying ball routine is to drop the four balls into a top hat or other receptacle and then change them into a giant ball when you turn the hat upside down. I sometimes ended my act with Horace Bennett's five ring linking ring routine from his book _Prize Winning Magic_, unlinking the last ring using the spin off move and then going into applause cue mode with one ring in each of my outstretched hands. Another ending was a silk production from an Alumascreen (sorry, can't remember the manufacturer and I haven't seen it listed anywhere in years) ending with a 25-foot streamer stretched across the stage. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

Always close with the flowers...Blooming, garden of flowers and the barehanded production of a botania on a pot with no cone.
On my smaller shows, I close with the color changing plumes ending with the original Marshall RWB finale. Richard

Depending on the show, I close with either my Giant Watch production, The Multiplying Bottles, or the Gorilla Production.

It is the funniest thing in the world from a performer's point of view to see 300+ kids jump 3 feet back, all at the same time. It's pure pandemonium, and I have found NOTHING that can follow it.
