Wiz Kid Qua-Fiki has come up with a new twist: a Magic Storybook. When he begins, the book is totally blank. Then, one by one, page by page, a story begins to appear on the blank pages of the book. No, I know what you are thinking and it is NOT the old Coloring Book Trick in a new disguise. The story takes its direction from character cards randomly selected by a kid from the audience. If the kid selects a superman card, for example, then the page that appears adds superman (text and pictures) to the story that is magically appearing bit by bit in the storybook.

At the end, if you wish, the completed storybook can be given to the children's librarian (if performing this at a library) or the school librarian (if performing this at a school or daycare) or the parents of the birthday child to read to the child over and over, etc. The completed book contains not only the story and colorful illustrations that appeared during the show, but also has your contact advertising embeded on the cover pages.

Because Qua-Fiki conceived the idea for inclusion as a chapter in his "Super Hero Magic" book that is slowly coming on line (on my site) as he completes the chapters, his magic storybook is all about super heroes, but it is not limited to that. Since he teaches you how to make all the necessary props on your computer and printer, you can design a storybook on any subject; farm animals, wild animals, dinosaurs, clowns and circuses, witches and wizards, cartoon characters and so on.

His Magic Storybook e-Book should be completed and ready for release in a week or two. If you think you might be interested in it, drop him a line at quafiki@yahoo.com and that might inspire him to hustle it along a bit faster.

The Halloween version of The Magic Storybook was released this morning. Qua-Fiki has carved out another corner of his "Qua-Fiki's Corner" just for additional stories for the Magic Storybook. However, in addition to the Halloween Story, he has also provided a new concept and a new principle for choosing the storycards, as well as adding a production of tricks and treats from the book at the end.
