I'm thinking about getting the DVD. My question is do you have to use umbrella's or can you use the oriental style parasols?

Primarily parasols because of the length of umbrellas.

Parasols Anywhere is great source if you wish to produce Parasols. You can use any Parasols as it is all sleight of hand. It would help if you know how to make your parasols open automatically. It is more magical.
I have 2 complete sets and would not part with them. It does take a lot of practice, that is probably why 61magic is willing to sell his. They are not self working in any way, all misdirection and great production principles shared. |

Do not doubt , it totally worths the price.magic parasols are really well made and the dvd is very helpful too,it covers each single move making the effect simpler that it appears to be. you have to spend enought time to create a nice routine though but it worths the effort.hope that your spectators are not preventives...

I have the DVD and I absolutly love how it's cut in sections, each technique properly taught. Joker Lam really goes thru everything you need for a parasol act. I made the parasols myself, I like them better since I've done the design myself. All it took was children's small umbrellas, I cut the button to open it, and it made it automatic. The holders from Joker Lamare great.
I really suggest you buying it, William |

William, where did you get your children's umbrellas? -Daniel |

I asked this in the silk forum, but I'll add it here as well...
What size silks do you use? I'm debating whether to go with 18" or 24". -Daniel |
