I just picked up the new effect "OH SHIRT" (http://www.innovativedeceptions.com/id_ohshirt.htm) from Max Krause last night and gave it a trial run today.
Here is how the effect reads. The spectator asks the magician to show them something amazing and the magician removes a deck of cards and has a card selected. The magician then has the card replaced into the deck and shuffled. The magician then attempts to find the card with no luck, making the performance less than amazing. As a last resort the magician turns around and asked the spectator if they see the card on the back of their shirt. The spectator laughs because there are a ton of letters all over the place that don't make any sense. The magician then tells the spectator that sometimes magic is done with mirrors. The magician asks the spectator for a pocket mirror, hands them his own or stands in front of a mirror and all of the letters reverse and suddenly their card is discovered on the magicians back! Oh, Shirt! comes complete with everything needed to present this very entertaining effect! Oh, Shirt! is a great icebreaker and conversation starter. All day long everyone was asking me what my shirt said and boom I'm right into the effect! I could not believe I didn't have to break the ice with anyone the shirt did it for me! I think the revelation on the back of the shirt is just awesome. When the participant finds the revelation ( Their Card) mixed in with random jarble they freak!!!!!! The quality of the shirt is top notch and the packaging is very nice. I have noticed that Max puts every bit of effort into puting a product together. I think they should call him MAD MAX for the killer effects he keeps putting out. Over all I give this product 5 stars outta 5! I love magic that I can have on me at all times that takes up no space at all. In my honest opinion I think Max has done a killer job on this effect. Oh and the mirror that comes with the effect is top notch and can be used for other effects like twilight angles and coins. Or if your woman needs to put on her makeup or your camping and need to shave. The options for the props are endless! If you don't have this effect I suggest you get it before it's gone. |

I too just got this shirt last week. Didn't take long to try it out. First place was at the restaurant which seems like a logical place. Curiosity always kills the cat and someone will ask what does all this mean. The price is right, plays really well, nice shirt (mine is black), and a great way to break the ice. Max is the nicest and best guy to deal with. He has a lot of products for the Worker. Don't lose out. Check out his website:

"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Max came to the Magician's Roundtable in Denver last Saturday. I've read about him on the Café, and it was great to meet him.
He performed this for me, and had me hold the mirror. I found it quite confusing, and Max had to guide me line by line as to what to look for. It may have been the performance conditions. I think I may have been standing too close to him and not able to see a whole line without moving the mirror back and forth. It seems that the spec needs to stand far enough away to see the whole string of letters in each line, but close enough to still be able to read the letters. I would like to see this again and stand further away. I must say that Max was a very gracious and friendly guest. His dollar bill s/n work is a work of art. I've never seen anything like it. Max is going to have a dealer's table at this September's "Magic in the Rockies". I'm looking forward to seeing his stuff again!

The shirt works really well. You just have to manage the spectator, but standing next to a tinted window works really well. Be aware of the reflective surfaces around you. Also try Unholy it's really fun! |

I just saw him lecture last week and the shirt was one of my favorite things. I really like the fact that it will start conversations with potential clients. Also the reaction that he got at the local SYM meeting the next weekend was priceless!

As a frequent customer and big fan of Max, I can vouch for the thoughtfulness and quality that goes into everything he puts out. Sounds like another winner!
