I find myself not using the marked decks that I have.
I just decided from reading this thread to start useing the marked decks. I have several gaffed decks that I have used, rising card, moving dot, changing pips etc. A new venuew for me to explore. Regards Leinad

They're very underrated and very powerful indeed. You didn't link the thread that you read, but there's a lot of good thinking on this forum about using marked decks in a crafty, oblique and creative way. Have fun with them!

I'm sure it's been talked about here before, but having your deck marked with the cards position as opposed to its value is quite a powerful thing. You need to be proficient with the number->card and card->number conversions (which this will help you with), it also makes cutting to a called for card easier to make corrections on.
Also I should mention, in my opinion, it is quite fun to mark your own decks. |
