I am bummed that I will not be able to see Cassidy this week at The Magic Castle. Whoever is in LA, this is your big chance to see a master at work. Really, some of the most important things I have learned has come from watching Cassidy perform. How he can improv, take advantage of his surroundings and deliver back information is astounding.

Me too! every show he has done in the last year has been to far away and I missed the teleconference. I would love to see this show live.

As long as we're on the subject, Cassidy does not have a notebook computer with him, so he'll be absent from this forum until next week. Also, if you miss him in L.A., he will be in Vegas in October for Mindvention.

He was great last night.

Made a special trip and flew down from S.F. to L.A. last night in order to catch two masters at work at the Castle. My friend, magician Patrick Martin followed by my idol, Bob Cassidy. Cassidy's first show concluded with his signature (brilliant!!!) Three Envelope Test and it absolutely killed. Drawing duplication climax was hilarious, devastating and as perfect a demonstration of "real" mind reading as you will ever see, because of Bob's masterful handling of a sweet and lovely young lady named Grace.

Post show audience chatter was not, "How did he do that stuff?" Instead, Grace, her cohorts and the rest of the lay audience talked about what they were experiencing and thinking and they kept going over and over the amazing details of what Bob was able to do. Wow! The power of mentalism to enliven, entertain and enrapture an audience; made manifest by a true master!

I ve seen him rocking the Parlour at the Castle. I ve been performing mentalism at the castle the week before him and stayed at LA just for having the oportunity to see the master in action!!!
