Whatever stage show you see this effect is present about one time out of twenty but I believe it is a real killer.I wanted to know what the name of the effect was at 3:10 in the video.

It's called "The Lean". It is actually an old Vaudeville bit, but it has been modernized for today's performances.

Thanks for all your help.But it seems a little pricey for what appears to the audience a trick rather than a full blown illusion.

The lean seems depending on how you use it would be used to enhance an illusion or joke in the act. It is a bit pricey as well

For the old vaudevillians who knew how to make it, it wasn't pricey at all. A couple of e******s, a couple of s****s, and a good strong pair of s***s. Ya know what I mean?
