You're clearly skilled, but the added effects and music made for a very blurry (and somewhat unpleasent) experience. Do you have a raw footage version available?
I liked the big coin stuff though! Nice, "clean hands" display.

If you would like some honest feedback, I will offer some with good intentions. Of course, this is only my opinion.Your love for magic is obvious, so please take these criticisms as constructive.
The quality of the video ranged from good to poor. Leave out the funky effects that make it impossible to watch. Also, I have never been a fan of headless magicians. YOU are the magic, not your hands and body. Especially on video, you lose all sense of misdirection if we can't see your face and where your eyes are looking. I believe there are enough headless magicians on YouTube. About the magic. My first and most important piece of advice is SLOW DOWN. You don't even give the audience a moment to experience whatever magic you just tried to show. It just looked like move after move, jammin' in as much as you can. No sense of wonder at all. TOO MUCH HANDWASHING. I know it's essential for some jumbo coin work (which was well done), but I found just too much hand rubbing, stroking, and striking that looks pretty darn fishy. I saw quite a few starfish hands, which is quite unnatural to even laymen. You also may want to consider investing in a chrome finished jumbo coin, the cheap dark ones don't look very good against dark clothing. Again, it seemed like "look how quick I am," instead of magic, which one is your goal? Some moves need to practiced a bit more before you film them for the world to see. For instance, the Gryphon roll looked you were struggling to do something a spectator is simply not going to understand (the speed of the move is its beauty). You may want to learn the corner method of the card spring found in THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PLAYING CARD FLOURISHES instead of short, little messy springs. Once would have passed, but they were done several times, assuring us you cannot spring the cards very well. Your color changes were sloppy. They had no preface, no clean-up, and no meaning and you exposed both the Polaroid change and the window change. There is no doubt you are on the right track, but would rather see well practiced magic with a sense of meaning as opposed to headless magic masturbation. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sound harsh (just my nature) and I am not saying I'm any better or even have the skills to be a judge, but I give this feedback in hopes of you maybe learning something about your magic you may not have realized. I'm simply telling it like I saw it. Keep it up and good luck. Regards, Corey

Please don't take it the wrong way. You have some skill and some god chops. Now just try to learn how to refine them. I didn't mean to say it was a BAD video (my god, I have seen enough BAD videos on YouTube to last a lifetime, yours was not one of them).
Don't be discouraged, just consider not only my words, but the words of the masters. With some thought and understanding, you can turn that headless dude into a likable, talented, entertainer. That's what it is all about. Not just moves. I hope I'm making sense. I'm not a hater or a basher, only seriously trying to help. Thanks for your reply. Thought and practice, you already have the passion, now follow through with it. Regards, Corey

Didn't take it the wrong way at all...I have posted another video, in which I tried to take a lot of your points and use them. Maybe you could tell me what you think. Should be on the topics page somewhere
