Swirl Assembly and Backfire - which may NOT be the same routine that Joe Hohman is referencing - is taught in Apocalypse. The first stage is a beautiful matrix (Swirl Assembly) and then the knockout second phase (Backfire) is that the coins instantly and almost visibly blink back to their starting positions.

Tonight Show Matrix does require one thing, the same that David roth uses on his Shelled Coins Across.
