Silverking,
Agree totally - what's even worse is while the Japanese government claim falsely to be whaling for scientific purposes but really want the meat because it's a traditional food item, it isn't popular anymore - they have enormous stockpiles of the stuff because few people actually want it. I love the Japanese but they are seriously screwed up on this - their idiot former whaling commissioner Masayuki Komatsu was on television again here recently trying to defend when he justified whaling by calling minkes 'cockroaches of the sea'. That was in a documentary about the two Japanese Greenpeace members who obtained proof of the corruption in the 'scientific' whaling industry only to have the government charge them with a crime, not the criminals. I believe they are both currently facing lengthy jail terms. |

HA! I had the impression it wasn't out yet, but it has already won an Oscar? Shows how out of it I am.
What film won the Oscar for best picture? Was it any good? |

Sea Hunt.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Oh, favorite movies that's a different thread. But look back at most of the Best Picture Oscars, and they're largely mediocre.
