OK Go and adorable puppy dogs: two things that are huge on the interwebs, together at last. "White Knuckles," the latest video from the group, follows the less-is-more approach the band has made their signature since their Grammy-winning 2006 video for "Here it Goes Again" (a.k.a. the one with the treadmills). It's even helmed by the same director who made that aforementioned clip -- Trish Sie, who also happens to be the sister of lead singer Damian Kulash.

But in case you didn't already squee over the first sentence of this article, we'll remind you... this one has puppies. Lots of them.

“There’s the saying, ‘Never work with kids or dogs’ in the film business, but I never went into panic mode,” OK Go bassist Tim Nordwind told New York magazine's Vulture blog. “We were just working with people who were very good with dogs, as well as working with dogs who were very good at being dogs.”

As per a message posted on the band's website, most of the "four-legged rock stars" in the video are rescued pups. An animal trainer was brought in to teach the dogs how to pull off all the choreography, Vulture reports, and the cast and crew set up in a studio outside of Portland for two weeks creating the routine.

You can watch the video below. But for those of you who've done your part to drive the clip's YouTube views well past 1.1 million in just two days, perhaps you'd care to own it? On their website, the band writes that they'll be making the clip available for sale, with a portion of all proceeds going to animal rescue charities.
