I went busking for the first time. Just did 15 minutes of busking. Earned 12 dollars. I think of it as a success I mean it was only a small 15 minute routine. My dad that was quietly watching told me not to ask for tips like I did. All I did was announce that I needed money for better supplies and when I pulled a a lemon out of the tip bowl I just ended it there. I thought it was fine. I know people enjoyed it cause I was getting big applauds. Overall IT WAS AWESOME! I think I'll spend the twelve dollars on some rope routine... Any Ideas?

I'd recommend spending it on dinner and stick with your routine. You obviously did something right if you made money. I've been learning to stop learning new magic and just keep learning about my own routine. Now I cant speak from years and years of experience, but I can tell you that once I stopped caring about learning new effects and focused on my own few routines, I became a better magician.
Either way congratulations |

I have to admit I liked my cup and ball routine. I produced too lemons under the cups and then showed where my tip jar was. I loaded another lemon under the tip bowl and picked up the cups showing 2 more lemons and then lifted the tip jar showing a lemon under there.
