I booked my flight a day early on accident and when I went to book a room for Sat. the 16th the palace said that the fee was 159 a night. I already have a room for the 17 through the 20th at a much lower rate and I was wondering if I could crash in someone elses room even if on the floor for the 16th I would gladly split the cost of the room but for $159 I might just wander the streets of Vegas all day.

I would think someone would be kind enough to let you crash in their room. I haven't been to Mindvention, but I have crashed in many rooms at other conventions.
