All paths have merit. It is the lessons you learn on the journey that are important. Confucius
You might say reality is the result of complex negotiations between the observer and the observed. But that is simply a point of view.

The path is NARROW.
There is a path of PEACE. A path of LIFE. An UPRIGHT path. A path to the left and a path to the right...one curved and one STRAIT. Don Juan (Isi's post) mentions that a path of one or the other, regardless, bear fruit. Therefore, lead somewhere. Yet, I meet many who are nowhere. -Scott M |

I understand that Thomas Merton once offered a class at Harvard on Religiosity. He began by saying, "During this course we will operate on the premise that all religious beliefs are correct." He lost hlf of his class, but the remainer vouch that it was the best course they ever took.
The other saying I like is, "All paths int he forest cross at some point."

To know the path and to walk the path are two entirely different things.
Knowing is not enough, you have to do.

There are many different paths to the summit but there's only one summit.
However when we can awaken, with no mistake, to the fact that we are at the summit. We already there. That to THIS consciousness... THIS (holds arms out like presenting "all this") IS... IT. so make it "heaven" EVERY day. EVERY moment. THIS moment... And this moment. 'n this moment. And IN THIS MOMENT I thank you for allowing me to share THE GREATEST MOMENT of MY LIFE, of YOUR lives, with you. Thank you. (excerpt from 'this moment' by Meraux Dantes)

Whether the path is known or unknown, shouldst thow takest the life of an elderly relative (of whom thow hast been named in their will) providing no other is there, then no other shall hear them scream.

When we are told to “find a path”,
or to “follow your heart”, or “pursue your dream” – doesn’t it seem strange or at least haunting that none allow for creation? Why not “forge a path”, or “stride hand-in-hand with your heart”, or “lead your dream?” Take a chance! ‘un-leash’ yourself – at least just for today.

All paths are not the same, because each clod of dirt is different for each traveller. All paths lead through suffering; some end there. The destination is the journey...

Consider then the walk along the path –
with each step decisions are made, and the world changed. The seed of the berry that would have been is crushed, while the thistle down is hurried on by your passage; and the birds of morning find another haven and you avoid that path because it is barren. Yet, your whistled tune finds an echo in the heart of a weary stranger who later writes a symphony that brings joy to your mother. It is not the path, my friend, that brings the magic, but that we are here to see!
