Hey Everyone,
Over the past couple of years, I've developed techniques and methods for effects that suit my performing style. My style being, visual effects. Mainly because I perform in loud places. I'm building a new repertoire right now, so I feel like now is a good time to put it all out there, since it's served me so well over the years. I've chopped together a little trailer, and you can purchase the PDF, here: http://disturbreality.blog.com/ “A fantastic Manuscript of astounding routines.. This is worth every penny for the color changes alone but factor in the routines and its a frickin steal….. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!” - ALAN RORRISON 57 pages of detailed & intricate photograph illustrated descriptions. Every effect impromptu and geared for the walk around performer. 2 Controls 2 Switches 3 Colour Changes 7 Effects Available now at: http://disturbreality.blog.com Feel free to shoot me any questions you have guys. Cheers, Lloyd |

Hey Blueroyalty,
Sorry Maverick is not on the PDF, here is the contents list though: Colour Changes CPR Change: Imagine a Colour Change as visual as the ClipShift but with no knuckle busting moves and silent! Barrel Change: The Slowest and most visual colour change that there is… with no gimmicks! Savings Change: A gimmickless and visual change of a playing card inside a box. Controls CPR Control: Cleanly cut a playing card in to the center of the deck. Secretly controlling it to the top. LTB Control: A single card is cleanly inserted in to the deck and left outjogged, then squared in. With no moves. It’s now on top. Switches Light Switch: Switch a single tabled playing card in the natural action of turning it side for side. Virgin Switch: A utility move for switching a card outjogged from the center of the deck, in a natural invisible motion. Effects Vrigin Transpo Lloyd’s rendition of the Dan and Daves modern classic, the Tivo Transpo. Twins: A prediction is made. The spectator chooses a card. The prediction is shown to be the chosen cards twin! Red Sky: A card placed face up in the deck instantly switches with a card face up on the bottom of the deck. Sniper: The spectator takes a shot at finding their card in the deck and completely misses… as a kicker, they find that they’ve been holding on to it the whole time! FLY: A teleportation of a signed selection… all in the spectator’s hands! Eat Fresh Sandwich: Imagine seeing one of a pair of face cards slowly and visually melt through the deck towards the other, bringing with it, your selected card. Flic – Flac: A hyper visual 2-phase inversion routine that you can add in to your existing set. Hope this helps, Lloyd P.s. Cheers for the good words Alan my man! |

Here's a review posted by Ian, over at Theroy11 guys:
http://forums.theory11.com/showthread.ph......d-Barnes "Hey guys. I'm doing a review of the new Lloyd Barnes PDF "Rebel". It's full of cool stuff you should definitely check out! Here's what's in it: CPR CHANGE - An alternative to the Clipshift, with just as many applications. I got to purchase this in video form, and the text is a good source to learn from, though of course not as in depth, but all the applications Lloyd discusses in the video are gone over in the ebook. It's a nice looking, fast change that can be done anywhere. This might suit some of you whose knuckles ache at Mr. Nelson's move. BARREL CHANGE - This change is cool, if you have the audience management to pull it off. It's a slow motion change of a card with no cover, reminiscent of an open looking Cartier. I really like this change, it's a different and unusual happening. I recommend this highly. SAVINGS CHANGE - A startling card change inside the box. It looks very clean and open, and would have been a perfect addition to Eric Goldfarb's stellar EP download. This is a very situational thing, but will work well under the right circumstances. Definitely something you can play around with. Think card back changes. CPR CONTROL - A tabled control using the CPR technique, very smooth and deceptive. LTB CONTROL - A knacky control, but deceptive under the right circumstances. It's very clean looking, and combines two moves. I have to say, I like the original better, but this is an interesting variation you just might prefer. Reminiscent of Daniel Madison's thinking. LIGHT SWITCH - A tabled switch. Also Madison-esque, this move is very clean if done right. This could just complete your monte routine. VIRGIN SWITCH - An amazing center switch to use in almost any routine where you have a face down outjogged card in the middle. It's that good, trust. VIRGIN TRANSPO - A Tivo variation (ugh, I know), but one that uses the Virgin Switch. It's actually good, compared to that "Tivo 2.348329853249058234kdsmnfkldsf" that the kid down the street posted on Vimeo. TWINS - Yet another Madison-like thing where a duplicate is divined. A great mentalism piece with cards. I recommend it. Clean and smooth, like WD-40. xD RED SKY - A routine utilizing several moves, and is basically a transposition. It's interesting and fun to watch live. If you want something different for once, try this. SNIPER - A take on the spectator card stab plot. Very interesting. Very, very clean. FLY - I like this a lot. Sandwich transposition? Yes please. A very unique set of moves here, that are very convincing and natural. Sandwich lovers, take a bite. EAT FRESH SANDWICH - A cool routine with a lot of great moves, and a slow, "melting" effect. FLIC-FLAC - An inversion routine combining moves from the PDF, resulting in a closer of an effect. Definitely a great last piece, recommended for that. All in all, this PDF combines elements of Myles Nakouzi and Daniel Madison. I highly recommend this PDF to any serious card magician. Have fun! Ian" Thanks to Ian for writing the review. Lloyd |
