I suppose when I reviewed this I assumed (as did Mr. Bannon) that most of the common sleights used were known by most magicians. I failed to mention to see this when reviewing the product and can be sure that in the future I will be more aware of things like this.

If there is anything I can do to give you a hand in the meantime I'd be happy to give you a hand. Just let me know!

This has been my best magic purchase in ages. Didn't have a problem with the explanations myself. I've been using Bullet Party a lot, almost taken over from Bannons other packet tricks. He is definately the packet trick king!!!

I was watching through Bullet Party again today. John Bannon is such a beast! I want to use pretty much every routine I see ..sometime in my life.

I'm practicing Wicked for performance, it's wicked cool and easy.

I love every trick/effect in this set - the only one I don't use is Riverboat Poker. This is DVD of the year so far for me! I'm going to revisit Bullets after Dark now Smile.

I'm a huge Bannon fan and I'm trying to decide if I should get this or maybe just the book(s), but I'm trying to figure out what overlaps from his books with what on his latest DVDs. From what I can tell:

Bullets After Dark DVD

Dead Reckoning (Dear Mr. Fantasy)
Dawn Patrol (Dear Mr. Fantasy)
Doctored Daley (Dear Mr. Fantasy?, referencing "Two Classics")
Power Of Poker (Dear Mr. Fantasy)
Counterpunch (Six. Impossible. Things.)
Four Faces North (Six. Impossible. Things.)
Bannon’s “Last Man Standing” (Dear Mr. Fantasy)
New Jax (Six. Impossible. Things.)
Origami Prediction (Six. Impossible. Things.)
The Einstein Overkill (Six. Impossible. Things.)
Bullet Train (Dear Mr. Fantasy)
The Bannon Triumph (Six. Impossible. Things., revised Play It Straight Triumph from Impossibilia)

Bullet Party DVD

Bullet Party (Bullet Party)
Final Verdict (Dear Mr. Fantasy)
Box Jumper (Bullet Party)
Riverboat Poker (Six. Impossible. Things.)
Poker Pairadox Redux (Bullet Party)
Fractal Re-Call (Mega Wave) Revision of his “Call Of The Wild” packet effect,
Crocodile False Cut (Bullet Party)
Mega ‘Wave (Mega Wave)
Fat City Revisited (Bullet Party)
Wicked (Mega Wave)
Bullet Catcher (Bullet Party)
Drop Target Aces (Bullet Party)
Four Shadow Aces (Bullet Party)
Big Fat Bluff Aces (Bullet Party)

If I have anything noted incorrectly, please let me know. Also, if any of the DVD handlings are different than the books please let us know that as well. I guess right now I'm trying to decide between buying the "Bullet Party" DVD or both the "Bullet Party" and "Six. Impossible. Things" books.

If you don't feel you HAVE to have the extra messages on thr cards, you can simply add one odd backed ace to your deck instead.this way you are ready to go without carrying an extra packet trick with you.the extra card would come in handy for lots of other stuff as well such as(off the top of my head)red hot mamma, and bizzare twist.

I understand that the "Bullet Party" DVD comes with 13 cards.

Are any of these gaffed cards, or are they standard playing cards?

If they are standard playing cards, which ones are they?

I noticed that Penguin Magic offers Bullet Party as a digital download here, so I'm wondering what 13 cards I'd need to get scrounge up to perform all the tricks.

I got my two DVD set a few days ago. Generally quite pleased, however...

In watching the bullet party explanation I'm confused as to the second "reverse count" and the configuration of the cards before the first EC. There is no detailed description in the explanation. Bannon separates the packet into two cards in the right hand and the rest in the left. He then says square the cards. Ar regular speed I couldn't see if he put cards on bottom or not. Putting the DVD in step mode I can see he does indeed square the cards but that leaves the AS face up second from top. He then separates the packets with the AS as the top card in the right hand, and it looks like there is more than one card in his right hand (in prep for an EC). It looks like he just slipped the AS from the bottom of the left hand packet, though. What is going on there? Lost.

If someone can pm me with clarification I would be grateful! Thanks.

Nevermind, a night of sleep and a rewatch solved my problem.
