Anyone remember this book? Late 70's or early 80's.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

No but I have a friend that goes nuts about that dang cluster. It was some psychedelic experience deal for him. How's the book?
You know why don't act naive.

Well, the book is essentially about a guy from Switzerland who claims that he was visited from a very early age by life from the Pleiades, and given knowledge, etc...
He had a HUGE amount of photos, and some film, and a lot of testing was allegedly done to determine authenticity. As one might imagine, there were those who proclaimed the photos legit, and others who did not. I just remember when my dad got the book, it had a whole lot of interesting photos of the alleged space craft. If was a big, coffee-table book, but not terribly thick.

Oh, I don't know... I thought it was plenty thick. LOL!
Seriously, though, many people from every time period have attached occult significance to the Pleiades star cluster. They're gorgeous in the sky. One of my favorite systems to look at through binoculars, a small telescope or even with the naked eye.

I remember the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Can't Stop." Does that count?

Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley. "...as we reason and love, we are able to hope. And hope enables us to resist those things that would enslave us." |

No but I get regular communication from Subaru.

I believe Ben Harris disproved that fellow who wrote the book, which means nothing to the followers.
