Just received this very high quality Ring Reel from James P. Riser, the custom magic manufacturer of metal products that can be used for magic.
It has a stainless steel case with custom ring clip, swivel belt clip. I was thinking this would be a great rope pull, not for speed restoration, but for very puzzling magical rope restoration effect. Does anyone have any ideas for cut and restored effects using a reel vanisher? http://www.jamesriser.com/Magic/JamesRiserMagic.html |

I like the last one- you could vanish a small woman with that thing!
What a fun romp thru Jim's great inventory of goodies! Good think I don't have my credit card with me, I could have melted it! Jim

Petrick & Mia also created a number of effects with this type of reel. You can vanish, rings, rope, Ellis rings, finger rings and long stemmed roses. |

I use one like it for the Neff Miracle Rope.

That's an excellent suggestion. I've been struggling with the Neff Miracle Rope - the gimmick supplied with the instructions does not seem to give me enough distance, and I have been no more successful with my own hold-out. (I built the hold-out to perform the Jack Miller C&R rope as explained by Ed Mishell, and it is just fine for that, but the Miracle Rope seems to require more.) When I figure it out, I still plan to put my thoughts up in "Secret Sessions." Thanks.
