Crap ton of misprinted bills. If they don't get burnt, somebody will sell them as a collectible in the back of the National Enquirer. That's my "prediction."

I think they did it on purpose. Misprints are worth more.

Yeah maybe the US government will auction these themselves to help plug the deficit. Like a band-aid on a battleship.

Maybe they should contract the printing of the bills out to China? Or better yet, the Royal Canadian Mint?
The latter does excellent work, and the US has already used it in the past: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_for......ian_Mint In fact, if you look at the US one dollar bill really closely, you can find a Maple Leaf hidden in the design.

I love Chinese people and culture, but we don't want lead in our money. Although, since we owe them quite a bit of scratch, maybe we could just have them print a little extra for themselves.

The discovery was made by a pair of U.S. environmental advocacy groups, which tested 22 U.S. dollar bills and detected BPA on 21 of them.

That sucks, but it's probably negligibijibubble(sp?) compared to the amounts in canned foods, canned and plastic bottled soda, canned beer... Basically, any canned product is painted with a liberal (there's that word again) dose of high BPA liner on the inside. Plastic bottles are practically built from the stuff.
Oh yeah, most non-stick pans are painted with BPA containing coating, which goes right into your food when you heat it up. We're dosed. Probably too late to fix it now. Explains all the man jumblies. Not sure, but I don't think that stuff ever leaves the system. Will have to look that part up.
