I quite enjoyed the high energy, slightly manic presentation. I don't speak any spanish, yet I found it thoroughly entertaining. It's a very clever routine, the sleights are executed beautifully and most importantly it holds your attention and builds expectation and suspense. Really nice. When you watch it a few times and understand a bit about whats going on behind the scenes, it just seems all the more impressive. Great routining and clever ideas with the signed coins.

The thing that amazes me is how fast he can talk.
The magic is also incredible. |

He talks about a strange kind of crystal named the "cebuceo cristal". Cebuceo cristal reacts to bass sounds openig it's pores. So when Luis make that sound: "bleeeeeeee"' the Cebuceo crystal alows him to pass a coin through the crystal. That is first and second coin. When kylie tryes she can not make a bass sound and the coin is embedded and trapped on the crystal. His talk is somthing about that, using very funny and cult words. His speaches are even better than the efects. If you want I can try to translate some of them.

The first two coins I got. Standard gaff. The last coin I am stumped.
Beautiful and visual magic. This is a really marvelous presentation of coins through the table. By the way, I just watch these foreign language videos without the sound.
The real magic is family!

I'm liking his work more and more. Very clever, and most importantly, he makes the effects important to the audience. It's a bit disappointing that he went for the same effect as Cyril, but he seems to have added a bit to that, as well. At least he didn't reach through the table.

Cyril? Ancient history--must have been 2006? Back before Lu Chen went viral with it:

Wow - Lu Chen was the first I saw perform that; I hadn't seen Cyril's performance before. Excellent!
Thanks for the link Curtis! Jim |
