Hard to come by, I would keep checking ebay. Maybe someone here on the Café is willing to sell a copy. It's well worth it though, the material and history is flawless Smile
Best of luck!

Thanks. I'll keep checking eBay etc. I have been offered a copy for £50 including postage. Works out around $75. Would people say this is a fair price to pay for the book?

Yea I would say so, It is now OOP. For the quality you are getting it would be worth it. I guess it also depends on how serious you are about MD... if you are only getting this because we have suggested it is good then you may want to rethink your motives. Do you want to learn stack work? Then go for it, it is a great resource!

Many thanks to all of you for your kind words about the Joyal Stack and The Six-hour Memorized Deck. They are very much appreciated.

Thanks also to the ones who emailed me.

Shameless Plug: as you know, The Six-hour Memorized Deck is currently OOP. For French speaking magicians, the translated work CHAOS: L'apparence du hasard is however available.

I unfortunately have no reasons to believe the the Café's politics have changed on this subject.

Kjellstrom:
Your "joie de vivre" has always inspired me.

Mr. Poupart is still wondering how this can be done and is still willing to pay money to learn it.

Erc Richardson:
Thanks for the lead. I emailed them to know how many copies they have but I didn't receive any reply yet.

To all of you, have a memorable 2011! And remember, the best Memorized Deck is the ONE you use.

I use Joyal's stack, learned in 3 hrs and never forgotten. Right after I learned it I stopped using it for like 6 months(life), but immediately picked it back up and have used it constantly since.

I've just recently started speed memorizing decks, and I still use Joyal's stack for card to number conversion since it is so ingrained(until I get a card-peg down).

Thank you for all your work Martin!

I had been waiting for this publication, since missing out on the last copies at Dallas & Co in January. There are truly some really great books in this field of memorized/stacked decks . . . looking at it now, I see that this is one of them.

If a member is looking for a particular magic book, a dealer is not allowed to post his answer (and offer the looked-for title) on the Café.

Unfortunately, this doesn't prevent some of them to do so nonetheless.... Smile
