I am all for bold footwear but these are too tacky even by our field's standards. If you want something along these lines I would go with patent leather or pony hair.
People who work for Theory 11: Do you want a young guy without a stupid gelled haircut or eurotrash jeans for your videos? PM me.

No offense, but they look like they're part of a pimp costume. Try patent leather. Another option, that I favor, is to wear a well-shined pair of black western boots.

If you TAP DANCE during your show it's OK. Haa Haa

I think they are cool and would wear them during a show.

Don't listen to anyone. If you like them get them.

Hey...I wasn't suggesting them for myself, merely throwing an idea out there to the brave ones!

There is a fine line between a costume, and a getup.

They do have a place....with a crushed velvet suit and a walking stick that is topped with a gold skull. I'd only wear that on Halloween.

IMHO
Pimp is not a good look for a magician.

Man, I WISH I could get away with wearing some shoes like that...

Hmmm...Jeff Hobson's character would look fabulous in those shoes. And I recall a David Harkey piece that begins with the instructions, "Subtly call attention to the fact that you are wearing shoes." Those would get the job done.

Thanks for the link!
