Make me care about what you're doing, make me care about you

or at least make me feel something, enlighten me, take me for a ride or a journey,
even between the ears

Please don't just say look at this and do a trick

Give me emotional involvement, make me want to be invested in what your showing me

Make the world a better place through your art
~ just standing there with the look at me and what I can do type performance isn't going to do that

~ if that is all you can do right now, please limit it to your magic club meetings or for your friends and family until you are ready,
Or if that is what you want to do, be a hobbyist, that is great.

Right on! I shall probably only perform for friends and family, and maybe a few people that I share a geriatric ward with, but unless I can achieve at least some of the things you suggest, I am wasting my time, and more importantly, their time.
