I have watched Peter Marvey on World's Greatest Magic producing cards with his fingers open, as he didn't back palmed them.
What do they call this move?? and /or is he using a gimmick? If so, what does the tool called that he using?. The video can be found on youtube after enter these keywords (peter marvey, world's greatest magic) ... the effect is really great and I want to be able to do that. Any advice? |

1st, welcome to the Café, I hope you find it interesting to be associated with such fine members here.
Once again, if you would do a search on Peter Marvey, this question has been asked over 50 times on the Café. He uses a specially designed Card Catcher. This is his property and not on the market. He is not making it or selling it to the magic community. Some incorrectly call this a spider gimmick, that is not what it is. Sorry, I had to deliver the bad news to you. |

I found the clip at Peter Marvey on World's Greatest Magic. It's not great video quality, but the act can be seen just fine.
My comment on his act - "Wow!" I especially like the ..., well, watch it and see - I don't want to ruin anything.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

I believe it is a modified spider gimmick.
