David Harkey has an effect in his book Simply Harkey titled Pierced. Basicaly you take a ladies earing and vanish it. It then reapears in her ear! A bizzarre effect if ever their was one.
Have any of you ever tried this? Chad |

Got the book, read the routine... never tried it. Although I'm sure it works, it's a little intimate for me. I think the spectator would feel slightly uncomfortable, like you're invading their private space.
Just a thought, aside from that, the idea seems excellent... Liam. |

It really something you cannot do anywhere to anybody.
A lot of women would feel very uncomfortable with it.

I don't think I would make any 'sexually' oriented jokes or lines. But as long as you play it for the magic value, I don't think most women will have a problem. I would stay away from earings that look expensive! But I can say that this routine is a killer! Chad |

No what I meant is that in some countries this would be considered as a very displaced attitude.
And there was a movie in Europe featuring a pickpocket who was changing true diamonds to false ones with that method. Most girls who have seen this movie would be unconfortable here. Cheers.

I think that this is one of those effects where you have the "character" for it or not. To be honest, I love the idea, but wouldn't use it because I'd feel uncomfortable... and if I do, my spectators probably would as well.

Yes, me too lyndonwebb. And they say it's like the AOAs. So I am sure I will enjoy it.

The book is fantastic... Very similar to Paul Harris in terms of creativity, but the material in it is particularly commercial and simply beautiful.
I strongly recommend this to anyone. Liam. |

Can anyone tell me where to get it? All the searches I have done have said it's out of print.
Thanks |

I have tried this effect on many females. I like the premise of an article of the persons reappearing on them with no knowledge of how it is done. On about half of the attempts I was caught. Why? It is a common phenomenon of females to run their hand down their ears after their earrings are removed. They can get dry skin or even some dirt buildup in the holes from their earring. A very good idea, but somewhat risky.

I don't know If I'd like that done on me. Not sure. Depends on who was doing it I guess. The guy would have to have a certain charm. Maybe Chad has that charm if it's worked for him.

Flight 204 has a way to make a spectator's ring reappear on their own neckless.
It would take a lot of guts, though!
