Yes a light touch is preferred by this nearly normal magician.

That way my hand does not look cramped up.

Unless I have been practicing too much then I reach for the warm water to massage the hands. HMM, where is that aspirin bottle.

Mini LOL.

Just Sewious!

Thanks all, I've been practicing lots still and can now disappear then reappear a silver dollar using the classic palm vanish, and the move that David Roth does with the classic palm to make it reappear. I haven’t perfected it yet, but I'm sooo much better than I was before. Thanks to all for your advice. The friendliness on this forum is amazing, and I feel very much at home
cheers,

Well keep practicing and learning - you never know when you may fumble upon something useful to share back with the group!

Cheers right back at ya and keep those coins disappearing!

Practice, practice, practice. I used to keep a coin classic palmed for 12 hours a day to get it down. The nice thing about learning the classic palm is you can practice while doing other things which is great. The coin will fall a lot at the beginning and before you know it you will forget that you are even palming a coin and it will not fall out and your hand will appear natural.

Good luck.

Check out, (read) the beginning of the book (Bobo's coin magic) as well as the first few paragraphs in the chapter: Lessons on Coin Magic.

There is some good stuff, (not tricks but good stuff there.

IMHO that is.

Just my two Liberty Halves worth)

Whoa--it's like my mother used to say about my music lessons. If I practice every day, I really do get better. After a week at this, I'm actually able to fool friends with a CP vanish. Not quite ready to publicly do the reappearance yet, but I know if I can keep at it, I'll improve. Wow, if a klutz like me can learn coin sleights, then imagine what the rest of you talented folk can do!
