The local Dollar Store just received a large batch of Ed Alonzo/Fantasma instructional DVD's (two versions) that are super as giveaways for your audience helpers--and the price is right!

Good giveaways are priceless, so it is great to find them at a good price!
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

Just make sure you don't make the mistake of actually watching one. For a performer of Ed's caliber, they are quite embarrassing.
But I think this begs the question: Why not make your OWN video? You know, one with YOU as the star? Seems to make a little more sense to me. |

I'd have to agree with Starrpower....better to make a little dvd of yourself, and get publicity at the same time.
Everybody wants to beleive.....we just help them along.

Excellent.
It's also worth checking out D Robbins, if you haven't already. http://www.ezmagicrobbins.com/ I use them to put together magic kits, wholesale. You do have to buy a larger amount at a time because they are a wholesaler, but nice quality items at great prices. They have a GREAT beginner magic booklet with 102 tricks: "102 EZ magic tricks" is only about 30 cents a piece. |

I really loved the Ed Harris magic fliers. There were some great tricks in those to boot!

I made my own books from the Ed Harris artwork. They teach 6 tricks and cost me about 50 cents a piece.

I like the stuffed animals from Dollar Tree. You can produce them and then give them away.

I think your reward should be a stuffed animal from the Dollar Store.
Now, if I only knew how much to budget for that ... It's a shame that the Ed Harris material had to disappear. I do hope one day it is again released. |

I usually buy a bunch of stuffed bunnies from the Dollar Tree right around Easter. You can't beat their price.
