Not wanting to hijack the current Science thread, I am curious if anyone knows what it costs to purchase a Mad Science franchise or it's basic terms?

My friend Professor Bob was taken to court for stealing science experiments form one of those company's, and the judge's decision was that sceiene experiments are in the public domaine.

When I enquired it was even more expensive! As has already been pointed out these experiments are in the public domain. If I (or someone else) produced a video and booklet on doing science shows, would people be interested? (I have a physics background, and a great interest in this form of entertainment).

A friend of mine has a daughter who works for Mad Science - she has a degree in acting and gets paid about £30 a show
