Bob, there you go Name dropping again...lol
This will be my first Magic Whirl! I'm looking forward to seeing what it's all about! I gotta remember to bring my leash for Bob so he won't wander off too far and start marking his territory on other dealer booths again... |

In between lectures? Already visited the Dealer Room? Hungry for food and more magic? Visit the All New Magic Oasis! We have created a brand new area of the convention this year and it's called the Magic Oasis. This is a place where you can go during those down times - in between lectures, close-up shows, and visits to the dealer room. You can go there to grab some snacks and drink, sit and watch old and new magic performance videos on our flat-screen TV, hop on the computer to blog and tweet, and demo, share, and learn from other magicians such as yourself.
Hungry for real food during the convention? Afraid to leave and miss something? You no longer have to leave the convention to get something good to eat. We will be serving food during the Saturday Lunch and Dinner break in the Magic Oasis (check the schedule for times). Stop at the registration desk and pick-up a lunch and dinner menu. Select what you want from the menu, drop it off at the registration desk, and purchase your lunch and/or dinner ticket (prices will be announced shortly). All other times we will be serving snacks and drinks (pay your server as your order). Where is the Magic Oasis? It will be in the upstairs atrium area of the high school. Just look for the signs as you walk in the school entrance near the registration desk. It's No Mirage! Register NOW at http://www.Magi-Whirl.Org Have a great Day! |

Greetings, I attended this convention while I was President of S.A.M. and it is a very fond memory of a great convention. My son, who was stationed in Quantico, met up with me there and we were both treated extremely well, the shows were terrific and the convention itself was fantastic. Don't miss it if you have an opportunity of attending -- they always do a great job!

I have attended the Saturday night gala for the past 4 years. This will be my first time doing the full monty. The gala itself is worth the price of registration and it's lots of fun because the general public is invited. That adds a whole level of excitement to the event and the house is usually packed. I usually bring my son and one of his buddies and they talk about it all year long, and can't wait for the next one. If the Saturday night shows are any indication of the quality of the full convention, then we're in for quite a treat.
Plus, you couldn't be dealing with a nicer bunch of people - the folks of Ring 50 have always been very warm and inviting any time I've dropped into their meetings. They work hard and SMART to put on a great event. One more day...

Having a great time hanging out with Keith Fields, Losander, Mark Mason and the Ring 50 crew. Really enjoyed Keith's lecture.
If you ain't here, you're missing a good time! p.s. Losander's tables look even better in person than in video!

This is such a fun conference so far! The dealer room is fantastic this year and I think the lectures this year are all going to be very strong. Can't wait for our rather eclectic gala show (bringing the gf this year)!
