What up everyone...Well last week I got stuck helping my brother move (lots of fun BTW...LOL) In the midst of straining my back, twisting my knee and smashing my fingers several time...I came across a box with some of my magic books and lecture notes in his storage unit that I thought was long lost. Lucky me...almost made the day worth while. Anyway I was looking though the stuff, in there was a my complete collection of Richard's Almanac's the originals. In the March 1984 issue Daryl has a routine called "Two-Bit Wild Card" that included a sheet of stickers that showed a US Quarter (I still have the original sheet but do not want to use it), these stickers go onto blank face cards and the effect, in short, is the coins become real quarters leaving quarter size holes in the cards...NOW my question is...Dose anyone know where you can get stickers or decals that look like US coins (quarter or half dollar would be nice). I was hoping to save some time and not have to attempt to make them. Any help like always is very much appreciated...
Thanks, RJ |

I noticed on David Acer's site that the effect is produced by Camirand, so I checked their site and here is the link for the refills: http://www.camirandmagic.com/ac_011.html

Jim thank you very much for the info...that's the first time I have seen Pickpocket by Acer, pretty good routine. I'm planning to go in a different direction and was hoping to find stickers of Kennedy Half Dollars...but quarters will work for now...Thanks again bud.

Aha! You did mention quarter or half dollar, so...
...try these: Stevens Magic Emporium has this effect but if you look at the last sentence it mentions available refills, and they look fairly inexpensive. http://www.stevensmagic.com/index.php?ma......tfroogle And then there's this offering from Zazzle, that T-Shirt universe that so many love. The problem is that they come in 1-1/2" diameter, which is the size of a silver dollar, not a half dollar. Don’t know if the size matters that much for your purposes. http://www.zazzle.com/john_f_kennedy_hal......83244501 Jim |
