Not necessarily a bad thing...
My Mom had a really good Vacuum Cleaner... It sucked very well.

I hate the new vacuum cleaners. I love a good vacuum and if that means I need a bag in it so be it. Those bagless ones get clogged.

I've got a wet/dry hep vac. If the bathroom gets flooded (which happens with two young kids in the house) I can clean it up in a couple minutes and not have do any laundry afterwards.
I love my Hepa Vac, IT SUCKS! I don't know about rugs though. We have a different vacuum cleaner for our (one) rug, but my wife usually does that.

"this sucks" is a phrase I wasn't allowed to as a child, and for good reason. It is short for sucks the bag, sucks the big one, or sucks d---k. A lot of parents forget this. Nothing worse than being in a social situation and someones seven year ol yells out ," awww this SUCKS". Makes me cringe. The poor kid has no idea what it means, but that's not the point, the parents should. And if they did, or cared, I'm sure they wouldn't let their child yell out phrases related to a sex act.

That being said, there are a lot of "obvious" "shallow puddles" that go far deeper than we generally imagine. Psychology and Chaos theory both look at common everyday occurrences and look deeper than many have thought have looking.
