Hi Guys,
Other than the one with the torn corner, that Sankey had on his secret files dvd, Are there any other approaches to the bill to box plot worth checking out that don't use expensive apparatus? Many thanks John |

I've just always gone with the bill with duplicate serial number version. Spectator reads off serial number as its written down; bill vanishes, burns etc - to be produced wherever you want - serial number read off for the match. Simple and effective for me. Hardest part is the work that goes into making up your two bills, done in advance of course.

I know this is the money section, but I've done my ACR kicker with a bill in impossible location plot. I give a package to Spectator A from the beginning of my finale and invite Spectator B for the signed ACR (I do Tommy Wonder's ACR with a few changes). In the end, I invite Spectator A to open up the packages to reveal a folded card clipped in a bill (This is from Jay Sankey's Paperclipped Special Edition). That card happens to to be Spectator B's.
Here is how I wrap my package: folded card clipped to a folded $20, inside a Tic Tac box (Tic Tac paper removed, leaving a clear box), inside an envelope with the words "A Gift From Me to You" and two rubberbands wrapped around it. That whole package is stuffed inside the card box when I pull out the deck of cards for ACR. I like it because I don't have to give a sticky and wet bill to a person, I don't have to run to the supermarket to purchase the fruits, and no set up. But if you're still interesting in the traditional Bill in Lemon effects, I really like Bill Malone's and Scott Guinn's |

On Sankey's close-up linking rings DVD there is a bonus routine that you might like.

If you want to know the secret, it's a TT. If you want to learn the routine buy the DVD. Any other questions should be directed to Jay Sankey.

In one of the Magic Menu books there was an idea using Russian Nesting dolls. I'll have to check the book tonight.
Can't remember if it used cards or money, but I think the idea would work for either. Fresh Mint 2.0 by Cameron Francis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCK7lMyAnsk

In performing Steve Dusheck's Dollar Punch (which is part of the routine for the "Wizard's Wallet" recently released in The Wizards' Journal #20 on my site), you supposedly mark the dollar bill by punching lots of holes in it, then write down the serial number and restore the bill back to its "unholey" condition, and with one more check of the serial number, you vanish the bill and just look at the wallet which is being guarded by a spectator. When HE opens the wallet, he finds the bill inside, serial number intact. No TT needed, just the Wallet which you gimmick yourself from a Dollar Store (or other inexpensive source) wallet.

Get a copy of Ammar's ETMCM dvds. On one of those there is a lengthy talk about the subject.

Why not check out The Barrie Richardson "Bill in Lemon" from "Theater Of The Mind".

Using Sankey's Paperclipped idea pretty much lets you put a signed bill anywhere you can think of.

Sankey had one from a video that I can't remember the name of right now. I've done it before and it is great. It uses a clear plastic bottle/jar with a snap on lid set up like a Kaps card to can container, a paper "brown bag lunch" sack, rubber band, and a TT. I had to look for awhile to find a clear bottle/jar and ended up with a clear container for holding cocktail toothpicks. I think it may be on Sankeytized.
