Even teflon non stick pans the fumes can kill birds. any thing that gives off a perfume type scent can kill birds! natural scents will be fine for birds!

I know that I will have some jokes for this posting, but it is true. Doves can die very quickly of constipation. If you change there food or other certain parts of their environment it can cause constipation. I had a friend change the birds food (to a better quality) and one bird died and the other would of died if my wife hadn't stayed up for two days straight and nursed it back to health.

Temperature changes, toxic fumes, lack of sunshine for D3 conversion in birds these are all things to consider!
