I believe strongly in animal rights, so I am not sure whether to be amazed or angry over this trick. Regardless, it is very surprising!!
Here is the link http://elrellano.com/videos_online/4624/circo-roncalli.html I even tried to stop motion it and see when it happened. Something I have never seen before. |

That was pretty amazing - I really can't see these animals being abused and being able to do this trick - there is simply too much conditioning involved - if anything is is a great trick to champion the cause for NOT using animals to make fur coats.

MM...you are absolutely correct. I believe it would open some eyes.

On the magic side, it makes sense why she spent so much time in the cabinet putting the coat on. She was a great actress.

I'm sorry... you cannot say anything from here... they can be abused or they cannot.. from this picture its absolutely impossible to have one idea,,, what is happening .. in truth is that you cannot have any idea if you do not know the training method and the keeping conditions..

I knew what will happen. Is it a very old circus effect that I saw first time around 30 years ago. Diamond (member here) have that video.

Gianni,
You are right - I cannot know - what I am offering is a personal opinion from what I can see - my opinion is based on over 30 years of extensive work with many different types of animals and knowing what is involved - it may be wrong - but my gut reacton is they are cared for. Again, only a personal opinion:) MM |

There was no intention..to contrast what you say.. like you..., when you live with more than 50 big cats and 15 parrots and work with them in a magic show.... you develop a special sensibility when you heard comment about abuse.. but again I remark .. no intention to make any polemic.

No worries Gianni,
I appreciate where you are coming from. My experience as well is with big cats and feathered friends (and a few primates thrown in). MM |

Cool and surprising! I notice that some don't move at the end... I really hope she didn't step on any of them!

Well personally I think ,
if the animals can live in their natural habitat , whit no daily stress and evrythings(and even whitout what many handlers call simply "it's simply a game for them what they do on the stage it's like a game ") oh, yes it's a game ...... shurely the animals life will be better than live in that kind of cages (even big cages and even whit a pool), seriously do you think are better the cages? |
