The postie delivered my Macrocosm this morning and I am over the moon! This is a simply wonderful, professional and Real World reading system with so much potential. I decided to order both sizes and I am glad I did.
When I opened the package I found a lovely couple of cards (i have small and large). The quality of the images and card stock just shouts 'professional' out at you. The back is a lovely plain black while the front has the images. When I got the cards out I was drawn to the images straight away and spent about 30 minutes just looking at it before I even looked at the book. This card will mean something different to everyone and before I even read the reading ideas I had my own ideas for presentations with the card. I have just purchased a nice leather A4 conference folder to hold the cards in. This looks great with the image cards (inside protective sleeves), a couple of my promotional pens, some business cards and a pad of paper. I am now thinking about how to create a tick sheet for this card. Once you can stop looking at the image you will also find a book in your package. This is not a few sheets of paper stapled together or a spiral bound book. This is a perfect bound, glossy black covered book that looks lovely. The book begins with a very interesting background piece about the concept of the card. You are also told more information about the card and a starting point for readings. Then you get to the contributions from some good names in this area. All of the suggested reading systems are highly practical and offer a lot of scope for stamping your mark on it. The system I will use initially is on page 44. This is a system that I already use in some of my work and is ideal to use with Macrocosm. The whole package just screams quality in your ear and Todd should be very proud of this product. This is something you will use for many years to come. Two things I will say though is (a) I think the price is a few pounds too low, it is worth more than that. (b) how about a larger version so we can hang one on the wall? This is going to become a classic! Yes I paid for this product! http://www.todd-landman.com/?page_id=709 http://smokeandmirrorsuk.wordpress.com/buy-now-macrocosm/ |

Yes, these are slightly less that A4 and A5 respectively. They fit in leather conference porfolios.
Many thanks Stephen for your kinds words about Macrocosm. These are flying off the shelves at the moment and sold very well at Tabula Mentis this weekend in Huddersfield. Most people love the single talisman idea and most are combiing it with other objects. I did a reading this weekend using coins, their values, and location....nice! Best wishes Todd |

Macrocosm arrived yesterday and I must echo S.Ward's comments... Dr. Todd put a lot of thought into this. I can imagine all sorts of applications using this card while reading tarot for the public... I really like the idea of using this with a ring or other talisman as outlined in the comprehensive book which is included in the package. The idea of using three object to map a quadrant and then interpreting the images that fall within the or on the outskirts of the quadrant is a brilliant use of the card.
The public will love this approach to readings. What I like most is how the card allows for creative storytelling and seems to offer endless variations with its symbols/numbers/images... readings can be quick yet insightful or long and intense Contributions by Enrique Enriquez and Scott Grossberg were a particular high point for me I will definitely use this in professional settings... |
