Hey Gitty,
This is just Physics at work. The plastic stand he uses often come in wood and are sold as novelty wine bottle stands. This works by itself. The angle of the plastic and the opening at the top make the bottle balance at that angle. And it can withstand the weight of the can on top too. |

Love the toy. Not sure how impressive it is to lay people though. Myself own a few of the wine holders from local stores. The chain one is awesome!
