Does anyone have a good ending for a dice routine? Looking for something to compliment a Sach's or Bob Sheets routine to add a little more amazement.
Thinking along the lines of of using Milt Kort's dice switch and rolling out blank dice, but cannot locate a source for such dice. Perhaps a complete vanish of some sort. Any ideas?

In the "Dai Vernon Book Of Magic" by Lewis Ganson there is an item titled "Ending for a dice routine". This also on "Draun On Dice", Steve Draun's dice video. In the Steve Draun routine, following Dr. Sacks dice effect, several different size dice are produced for the climax to the routine.

Paul Green, who is a member of the Cafe, used to sell a Charlie Miller routine that included blank dice. You can get in touch with him at paulgreen@earthlink.net

How about smacking the dice on the table with your palm and, lifting your hand, reveal the dice have been squashed flat...

And where would one locate such "squashed" dice?

Blank dice may be available from game/model shops. Rolling a load of tiny dice you've copped from your pocket could be a possible end.
A similar routine to the Vernon routine with nice dice was marketed by Bill Pryor, think he called it 3-D. I was thinking of stocking it until I came across the Vernon routine again. Flat dice? You could make your own. John Cornelius used to sell something called Flash Die where a large dice appeared at your fingertips in a flash. Saw/cut some dice in half and super-glue them back together off centre, then conclude by throwing out crooked dice. Paul Hallas http://www.PH-Marketing-magic.co.uk |

Hi Nicodemus,
You might check out a marketed trick by Daryl called "Dicey Dots". It's not expensive (10$ at Daryl's Webshop), quite easy and fun to do and visually stunning. I bought it at a lecture of Daryl's and perform it now as an encore after Dr. Sacks' Dice routine. -Uli |
