The Milk in Lightbulb sequence begins at 2min 42 sec. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gwO0v1aTCg Then,at 3min 35 sec watch how he handles the pouring of the milk from the lightbulb back into the milk pitcher. He causes the stream of milk pour out and down from the lip of the bulb, in a relatively high and wide arc --so that the pouring stream of milk cascades beautifully down into the waiting (and still empty) milk pitcher below. Then with residual milk splattering below onto the floor takes his well deserved bow to rousing applause. Have a look and enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gwO0v1aTCg Jonathan

BTW, with "The Jug", you CAN pour milk (or whatever...I use "orange drink") out of the pitcher at the end of the routine.

Thanks for all y'alls input. I like what I hear about Dan Harlan's "The Jug"....Still wish I knew what Silly Billy uses in his video....guess I'll just give a call and find out. Or place a LF or WTB for The Jug in For Sale or Trade Forum.....
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Whatever milk pitcher you have/find, a tip is to use powered milk,
it does not have the oil base that Omm has, and you don't have to mix it up until you get to the venue, it is much cheaper than fresh milk, and does not spoil. It can also be made "strong or weak" so it gives the best most realistic coverage. My two-cents, Walt |

Great idea and tip Walt! I waste more than a liter of milk every time I do it and won't use OOM because I've heard that it will actually discolor the acrylic. Thanks! best, bob

After experimenting with all types f substitutes (including powders), my personal preference was to use real skim milk. There is also condensed milk in can or small insulated carton to keep it from spoiling and at the ready for a relatively long time. There are some monster threads/discussions on the subject of best milk and milk substitutes to use for the milk pitcher effect, right here on the Magic Café for those in search or wishing to add there further input.
Nowadays, I find it harder to search for specific threads/topics on the Café, son you may wish to put your key words into this search engine that one of our fellow members set up quiet some time ago: http://searchthemagiccafe.com Happy hunting! Jonathan

Does anyone know how to refill a double-walled glass for the Backstage Milk Glass Vanish? Mine has evaporated.

I use a white food coloring; it's whiter than white and very easy to use, a few drops and I'm done

Does anyone know where I can locate a milk pitcher that works like the classic pitcher and also really pour out liquid?
