Hello All,
I've decided that I am going to buy one of these DVDs (links: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/466 http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/2118); however, I cannot decide which to get. Generally, I like close up magic that has an element of style to it. I've been trying to stay away from cards (I have almost no material besides cards). Which of these two sets would you recommend? Thanks, Jordan |

Both are good, if I had to choose, in action. See if you can get them secondhand...then you could buy both

"In action" contains lots of cards while "On the spot" contains none..
Both are great sources for close up magic.

I personally like On the Spot more because of the variety of effects, and since you wish to avoid cards - seems a no brainer.

Bought On The Spot along with some of Gregory's other stuff back when Penguin had the 5 DVD for $100 promotion going on. Thanks for all your replies!

Just received the package today (bought it on Sunday). I must say that I COULD NOT be happier with On The Spot. Simple, practical magic.
