I bought Rus Andrews "numbers" a few days ago. I know that there has been a lot of other posts discussing ACCAN effects, but I wanted to give my opinion on this one. This one is actually a CAAN effect because the card is a prediction, but the method is wonderful, ingenious and simple. What I like about the effect is that it's totally hands free with the deck in view from the begining, which is, in my opinion, essential for this type of effect, more than the choice of the card or the number.

I started by using the original method and I got extremely good reaction. Recently I had the idea of using pre sh**, and make someone think of a card and name it during the performance. I performed it this way two times now, With no doubt it was much more impressive, and it became an ACCAN effect.

I'm interested to know the opinion of the creator!!

Anyhow I recommand this to anyone searching this type of effect.

I have commented on other threads about Numbers but will repeat here---it is genius. So clean and powerful. It is the best bargain in mentalism/magic. Can't wait for the sequel.

This effect is awesome, and my most performed effect to date. This is also my most requested effect.

Im sure Rus mentioned that he has an amazing version using a P***********L F***E that made this appear as a ACAAN in his new ebook rerun? whic sounds like the above effect, I can see this being very powerful indeed and I'm looking forward to reading the new ebook.

This hits really hard, and is probably the closest I will ever get to the ACAAN myth.

I know people say this is not a true ACAAN effect but to the spectator it really has the feeling. They hold the cards the entire time, they choose the number, they count the cards face up----and you don't have to be David Berglas to perform it.
