Hello everyone,
I just got this recently and found it was an interesting effect. I saw the performance demo, it's a nice one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3yBeJHFKiA You need a microphone stand, and them you mic change to money, for what? Buy a stand? It seems a little bit unreasonable. I'm looking for a more reasonable presentation. Does anyone get some ideas? Thank you very much. YuYen

Vanish the mic while stating, "As you can see I've got some money we could use, but I'd rather use some of yours." [Borrow his hundred dollar bill or whatever and off you got into a bill to lemon routine.] Of course knowing up front that he had a bill to use would be imperative, but that could be worked out easily.
By the way, thanks for sharing Tony's creation. I like the idea. I use a wireless mic headset, but for spec's I've got a wireless handheld. This would be a nice little bit-o-business to use. After vanishing the mic one could pull out the real one. Not a miracle, but a nice addition; sort of like the tried and true silk through mic stand. |

The presentation is what you make it. Often Tony will talk into the mic and when he realizes it doesn't work, he'll say he needs to buy anew microphone, and then do the change.

Say you'd love to tell them the secret to that last trick you did, but the magicians union has paid you a lot of money to keep it quiet. As you say "quiet" do the change and pretend to keep talking but just move your mouth without making a sound.
