What's the best hinge type for making a box lid flip completely over so that is lays against the side of the box?
Rules are that the box is made of 1/4 -3/8" plexi, so any type of hinge that requires deep morticing is out. Just a simple exposed hinge that can flip onto itself. Any ideas? |

Yep. Miter the joint, and make sure the hinge can actually open that far.

I have seen those used in entertainment centers.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

I've looked but I can't find any that are smaller. Can anyone suggest a supplier for these same hinges (270 degrees) but for stock between 1/4 and 1/2"?

Will something like this work for you?
http://www.thefabricatorssource.com/products/19acryl.htm If so just google plastic hinges, acrylic, or urethane hinges. I think that plastic place everyone suggests 'Tap' sells them as well. |

Nope. Still locked out. Even when I try going in through Google search. Must be something in my settings, but since this is the only web page I've never been able to access I have no idea what they might be.
