The origin and the source of Tommy’s routine are within his extensive studies on magic. There is no single source and the origin is the basic idea of the cups and balls itself.
His books reveal his philosophy of magic and performing which gives insight on how he developed any routine he used. The cups are not gimmicked. The final loads (lemon and egg specifically are loaded in a very atypical manner. You can catch it if you look closely. The man was simply a creative genius and artist.
The artist formally known as Mumblepeas!

The stealing balls under the cups and the loading the 3rd cup is really deceptive.

That was lovely! I am used to his 2-cup routine and I love that one as well, but for the stage routine, this was marvelous!
Is this routine in print anywhere? -Patrick |

I wish there was another existent clip of his two-cup routine--one besides the L & L one.
