Hey guys,

I just received BOLD, and I took a first time viewing.
Here are my thoughts:

1) Collared: A nice effect, in which spectator management goes a long way, and there is a surprise at the end for the spectator...
some might see it as BOLD, but a few practice runs on family and you should be good to go.

2) Oil Slick: Perhaps the best item on this DVD! A 2 phase Oil and Water, the first face happens face down, and everything is fair, the second phase is done face up in the spectators own hands!

3) Hidden: Thought of Card to Shoe.
A card a person merely thinks of ends up in their own shoe.
To me this was the weakest effect on the DVD, since I already perform a version that is very similar to RUS

4) Daley Transpo: Rus has added something that most people overlook with this classic of magic
I will be trying out Rus version, which I am sure will be psychologically appealing.

5) Pip My Ride: Impromptu card change that happens on the offbeat, very nice, I will also be using this!

All in all from 5 effects, I will be adding 3 to my repertoire, and trying out the 4th(Collared).....
If you get one good thing from a release to me it is worth it!
And this has more than 80% of material that I will use.

I got this too and Rus is really going places. The title is perfect--BOLD effects are what everyone should strive for. I enjoyed all 5 effects and especially the Daley Transpo and Oil Slick. The teaching on the DVD is first rate and Rus actually adds more than just the mechanics on how to perform each effect. If someone takes the time to perfect a few of these effects they will be able to perform a genine miracle. I give this DVD my highest recommendation. Another winner Rus!
