Hi I just in the last week placed my order for The WA, The Teller, and the Carnie Tarot(man I can't wait!!!!).I also want to place an order for one of the Luna's.I was wondering which are your personal preference's and do all 3 use the same method? I am thinking of pulling the trigger on all 3.Thanks,

Hi Eric. I have Luna 1935 on the way. I don't yet own Luna 1934 or 1936, though both are on my wish list. I believe all three Lunas use the same basic method.
1936 was obviously the original and I've heard it's the simplest to use. 1935 adds a wild-card option that can link a selected profile with a second profile. Both these Lunas have a higher weighting of female profiles to males. 1934 has maybe a few more hits, it also has a wild-card, and is weighted more towards male profiles. Each will stand on their own, but you get more options presentation-wise if you own two, or even all three. Each of the volumes seem to have great reputations and I doubt you'll go wrong with any of them. |

By the way, as others have said before, the eBook 'So Dark' is VERY highly recommended when purchasing any of the Luna trilogy. Amongst many other things, it explains some of the differences between the three books, and has ideas on how to use two or more of the books in a single presentation.

Defiantly pick up So Dark no matter which you decided to get, so many great ideas in there. I picked up all 3 books when I ordered and would recommend the same if you can afford to because it opens up so many options. But as minty said, all can stand on their own as well. 1936 is the simplest and a great 'gateway book' into the trilogy if you are trying to keep things a little less expensive to start.

I asked Roth for a recommendation as to which Luna would be best for me. He recommended Luna 1935 and that's what I bought.
It is a remarkable effect -- easily the highlight of my small events. Brilliant concept, powerful emotional connection and relatively simple to do -- it leaves itself wide open to a fabulous presentation. Add in a little music and you have the makings of a legend. Luna is one of the best things I own. Seriously. (You've also chosen well with Carnie Tarot...you are gonna love it! Presentation possibilities are endless!) David

I agree that 1935 is probably the best. They can be used as a linked up trio, but stand alone is very powerful indeed. Thanks David for your kind words. I was honoured at Doomsday when Riger Curzon had a little reference to Colney Hatch in his bizarre close-up set

As others have said, you will be thrilled with ANY of the three. Be sure to pickup So Dark as well.
