If you are not familiar with this web site, it’s basically a regular guy with regular skills, he has a great sense of humor, teaches a ton of projects, many magic effects, as posted in the link below, aside from the link below, he does not sell anything, worth taking a look even if you’re not a wood worker.

There's a difference between loving magic and exposing it because you think it's neat. He needs to make puzzles, not magic.

He does make puzzles, and please don't get on the exposure bandwagon, we all know we wish it did not exist, but he is not the masked magician, exposing a ton of new and old magic, he has made a woodworking video and tutorial to a very small audience, wood workers.

It's tough enough when people yell out "there's a mirror" it's another thing when they start showing the video on their phone, in the middle of your show. Besides why should woodworkers be exempt from keeping secrets?

C'mon Jay, back it up, this is nothing like a person yelling from an audience.

While I am a woodworker and found the video entertaining, I was disaappointed when he exposed the secret at the end. I thought he was going to end it where it looked like it ended at first which would have been even funnier. As far as more people viewing this , I think it could happen if the GRRRipper people decide to capitalize on it. After all this was basically a commercial for the GRRRipper.
Or, in other words, now all my woodworking buddies will know that I'm not actually able to magically produce free beers! There go all my friends |

Sorry to break the news, but all woodworkers and other laymen ARE exempt from keeping OUR secrets. They have no obligation to us not to yell out to the whole world when they catch us pulling a fast one. Our best defense is to figure out how to deal with it. It's part of our business, but not theirs. There are still many variations on both the Square Circle and the Mirror box that have not been exposed, even to other magicians. You'll find some on my site. Qua-Fiki's "Puppy Fiki" from The Wizards' Journal #18 gives a new slant on one of those principles, while Jim Gerrish's "WAH Production Box" from The Wizards' Journal #10 takes care of the other. Quick! Before other woodworkers find out we still have a few new tricks up our sleeves!

I also thought he was kind of annoying in the beginning, and then he somehow became fun to watch,

So I'm guessing what this guy is saying is, basically, the box is the magic, the box is the whole point, the box does all the work. Another DIY novelty project that will either never get built or sit there gathering dust as it gets forgotten. [Yawn]
That's our departed buddy Burt, aka The Great Burtini, doing his famous Cups and Mice routine

My brother & I had great fun with these traditional toys ages ago. FYI, "hooley" is commonly defined by the Irish as a party & or a lively evening of music & dance. This is nothing if not a lively toy. Thanks for posting the link, which prompted a fond memory.
Pleased to continue finding that all the world's a stage.

Great link, thanks.
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.
