Who would you prefer Blackpine, Uri Geller?
I think the knack of putting your audience at ease early on is key to any good performance. Remember, you are representing yourself as very different to them, i.e. - you can "Read Minds". There is a fine line between being Aloof and approachable, even though you have supposedly this "unique gift". If you distance your audience, you've lost them! Then again favourite performers it is all subjective.

Innercirclewannabe : Great example, Mr. Geller is awesome. Other great performers that I love see performing is Hilford, Cassidy, Maven and others.

I don't think "The Doc" was exactly enthralling on the Monster Mentalism Series, but that's my opinion.
Bob seems to be always engaging and Professor Maven is class. I am glad my "Mental Powers" are not failing me. I just knew you were "Thinking" of Geller!
