Folks:
Howard has graciously agreed to fly East for the first time in a LOOOOOOOONG time, and spend several evenings in Philly and Baltimore. Howard spent more than a generation learning from, and sessioning with, the Professor at the Castle. He's also a contemporary of folks like Jennings and Cervon. If you're anywhere near the area, please note these dates: August 23: Howard will lecture at Marc DeSouza's house near King of Prussia. August 24: Howard will lecture at Denny's in Baltimore. Doc Eason says: Quote:
Howard is one of the best card men in the world who you have never heard of. Steven Youell says: Quote:
For those who don't know Howard, let me give you a picture. Kent Gunn says: Quote:
Howard will fool the stuffing out of you. The Buck Twins sell Howard's "D" Notes, saying, Quote:
"Howard Hamburg was the highlight of the 2009 GGG convention in San Francisco. The “D” Notes were printed in a very limited edition for that convention and immediately sold out. They have been positively reviewed and highly sought after. His stories and rich history with Dai Vernon and others have been recorded in this beautiful full-color booklet. Also included are 5 of Howard’s favorite effects complete with illustrations." So, understand that the West Coast guys are highly lucky to have Howard on a regular basis. Us East Coasters, we're fortunate to have him for two nights. If you're interested in attending either lecture, contact Marc DeSouza or Denny directly.

Even if you HATE cards, go see this man!
The stories he can tell are worth it all. He really is a living legend! |

Edit:
Actually, Kent didn't say "stuffing." He said, "snot." Well, actually, he didn't say "snot," either. He said, "****." Either way, you know what he said. And he's on target. (And he's at the GGG this weekend, so it doesn't matter what I say he said, he won't be around to correct me.)
Cheers,
